Materials & Quality

Know what your home is made of — and how it is built to last.

Two views of an L-shaped modular kitchen with high-gloss burl-wood shutters, lit glass display cabinets, a black chimney and a black granite counter

Materials decide how your interiors look on day one and how they perform years later. We explain the options in plain language and record the agreed specification in your quotation.

Ply

The carcass: plywood grades

The grade is chosen by room — water exposure is the deciding factor.

Moisture-resistant (MR) plywood
Suitable for dry areas such as bedrooms and living rooms. Commonly specified under IS 303.
Boiling-water-resistant (BWR) plywood
Better resistance to humidity; often used for kitchens and utility cabinets away from direct water.
Boiling-water-proof (BWP) / marine plywood
The highest water resistance, commonly specified under IS 710; recommended for sink units and wet areas.
